Why should you choose Tifway
419 bermuda?
Tifway 419 bermuda is both heat and drought tolerant, in fact it prefers full
sun locations with little or no shade at all. It is the best of all warm season
grasses in high traffic areas and is quick to recover from injury during the
growing season.
Maintenance Tips
Watering:
Your new turf should be watered daily and kept wet for at least the first 7-10
days after installation.
A deep soaking every 5-7 days is recommended during the growing season.
Mowing:
Tifway 419 bermuda should be mowed weekly at a height of 1/2- 3/4 inch
with a reel mower.
Fertilization:
To maintain that rich dark green color and dense turf that Tifway is
known for, you should fertilize your turf on a monthly schedule. During the
spring, summer and fall months it should be fertilized with 3/4 to 1 pound of
nitrogen applied to each 1,000 square feet of lawn. Always read and follow the
instructions on your fertilizer packaging.
